I made a Bashlyk!

Winter is coming, to this quiet little rural town, thus I decided to make a winter hat, in this case a Turkic Bashlyk, a felt cap with very long ears, dating back millennia worn by civilians and soldiers alike, notably these evolved into the primary service cap in the ottoman army in the First World War, often worn under the steel helmets.

Also very fashionable and warm, wound about the crown or around the face. The only winter hat that can contain my billowing curly mullet!
